Andrey Stanko is an Ukrainian photographer currently living and working in Kaua’i, Hawaiʻi.
His work spans portraiture, ballet and dance, fine art, and long-term visual projects. Rather than treating photography as a service, he approaches it as a form of observation — a way to record structure, movement, and presence without intervention.
Born in Odesa, Ukraine, Andrey’s visual language was shaped by years of working with form, light, and human motion. His background in visual arts and documentary observation informs a method focused not on performance, but on continuity.
One of his long-term projects, Dance in the City, explores the interaction between classical ballet and urban environments. The project has been exhibited internationally and received multiple awards, reflecting sustained work rather than isolated results.
